Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Greetings in the joyful name of our Lord Jesus Christ, whose coming we celebrate and eagerly anticipate during this sacred season of Advent.

New Superintendent for GCI Africa

Last weekend was a moment of great joy and thanksgiving as GCI leaders from at least Ten African countries gathered at Aruka for a Kingdom Culture Seminar, led by GCI President, Dr. Greg Williams. The weekend culminated in a deeply meaningful Commissioning Church Service, during which Pastor Kalengule faithfully handed over the leadership baton, and Pastor Takalani Musekwa was commissioned as Superintendent for GCI Africa.

We thank God for this significant milestone in the life of GCI in Africa. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who has sent messages of congratulations, encouragement, and prayers over the past few days. Your love and support are truly appreciated. New Deputy National Director for GCI South Africa

We also rejoice in the commissioning of Pastor Thabo Mahasha, who currently serves as Regional Pastor for the GCI Northern Region in South Africa, as Deputy National Director for GCI South Africa. Pastor Thabo will work closely with me during this season of transition as I hand over the National Director responsibilities, even as I begin serving in my new role as Superintendent for Africa.

We congratulate Pastor Thabo on this new calling and responsibility. Alongside his pastoral leadership, he also serves as a lecturer with Ambassador College of Christian Ministry (ACCM), bringing valuable depth and experience to this role.

Prayer of Thanksgiving and Commitment

As we celebrate these new beginnings, my prayer request for this week is that you join me in praying for Pastor Thabo Mahasha and me, that the Lord will grant us wisdom, humility, and joy as we step into these new roles of service. To God be the glory. Amen.

Ron Harley: Ron Harley of GCI Pretoria passed away last week.A memorial service is planned for Saturday 13 December 2025 at hic church GCI Pretoria in Raslouw. For those not able to attend in person, you can access the livestreaming of the memorial service here: Ron Harley Memorial Service.

Sick Brethren: Please continue to pray for the brethren who are suffering from various sicknesses.

Offerings: Please continue to pray for the offerings and needs of the church as we count down to the end of 2025. Income is still below budget.

National Office Closure

The National office will close on the 15th of Dec 2025 and reopen on Jan 05, 2026.

Please make sure that any disbursements required for Dec 2025 and early Jan 2026 are submitted by no later than the 12th of December for final processing.

SPIRITUAL EQUIPPING PROGRAM (SEP) 2025

SEP starts this weekend from 14 December 2025 at Aruka. Please pray for safe travels for both campers and staff, and for a successful camp.
